Course Description

This introductory course is the study of human behavior in society. Its primary focus is on the influence of social relationships on people's attitudes and behavior, and on how societies are established and changed. Some of the topics covered are culture, deviance, the family, globalization, social inequality, the mass media, ethnic and race relations, socialization, religion, research methods, and organizations.

  • All first week assignments need to be completed and submitted by the due date to avoid possibly being dropped from the class.
